El próximo 15 de septiembre, celebramos el acto de entrega del Premio Tesis Doctoral UPM 2019. Ante la situación vivida en los últimos meses por la crisis del Covid-19, en un ejercicio de responsabilidad para salvaguardar la salud de todos los implicados, desde la Cátedra ClarkeModet-UPM de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid hemos decidido realizar este evento de forma online.
La I edición del Premio Tesis Doctoral UPM es una iniciativa fruto de años de trabajo desde la Cátedra ClarkeModet-UPM por la promoción de la investigación y de la transferencia de conocimientos entre el mundo académico y la sociedad, así como por fomentar la creación de activos de Propiedad Industrial e Intelectual y de spin-off que permitan las trasmisión de los resultados de las investigaciones al mercado.
En esta primera edición del Premio Tesis Doctoral UPM 2019 el Jurado ha elegido como ganadora a Rita Hogan Teves de Almeida por su trabajo de tesis doctoral Large power hybrid PV pumping for irrigation.
El trabajo elegido en esta edición ha destacado entre los más de cincuenta solicitudes presentadas por su carácter internacional y su éxito en la transmisión de los resultados de la investigación realizada al mercado.
