Cada 26 de abril se celebra el Día Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual, una ocasión de encuentro entre agentes de distintos ámbitos y una oportunidad para dar a conocer el papel de la propiedad intelectual e industrial como impulso de la innovación y creatividad.
Este año el Día Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual pone el foco en las pymes, bajo el lema La PI y las pymes: Para que las ideas lleguen al mercado se están organizando actividades para contribuir a presentar las ventajas que la PI ofrece a las empresas.
Desde la Cátedra UPM-ClarkeModet queremos participar en esta iniciativa promovida por la Organización Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual, por ello os invitamos a nuestro próximo webinar el lunes 26 de abril de 2021, a las 10:00h.
En este webinar contaremos con Pablo Castiella de baobab soluciones. Castiella es licenciado en ciencias físicas y emprendedor desde antes incluso de terminar la universidad, ha trabajado en el entorno de la inteligencia artificial desde 2003. Desde 2011 es co-fundador y managing partner de baobab soluciones, spin off de la UPM que hace consultoría y desarrollo de aplicaciones de ayuda a la toma de decisiones para grandes empresas nacionales e internacionales (IBEX 35 y Global Fortune 500).
Asimismo nos acompañará Elsa Martínez de Hera Technology, startup tecnológica social dedicada a la salud mental, ganadora del Hackathon de Pfizer y TheCUBE Innomakers4Health 2019 y finalista de de la 17 Competición actúaupm. Elsa Martínez es graduada en Ingeniería Biomédica por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y actualmente cursa el Master en Ingeniería Biomédica por la misma universidad y el Master in Technological Innovation in Health patrocinado por EIT Health.
Intervendrán en el evento José Antonio Gil Celedonio, Director de la Oficina Española de Patentes y Marcas, y Juan Manuel Muñoz Guijosa, Vicerrector Adjunto para Innovación y Transferencia de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y Director de la OTRI UPM.
Todos ellos nos explicarán cómo las herramientas que proporciona la propiedad intelectual e industrial les han ayudado en el desarrollo de sus respectivos negocios.
