Industrial and Intellectual property chair UPM - Clarke, Modet & Cº

The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and the ClarkeModet group are launching the Cátedra de Propiedad Industrial e Intelectual (Chair of Industrial and Intellectual Property) on April 1, 2011. This is a pioneering initiative in the European context that promotes training actions related to the transfer of technology and intellectual property in order to effectively protect the knowledge generated by teachers and researchers.

Miguel Holgado, professor at the UPM and director of the chair, highlights the close collaboration between one of the most important agents of intellectual property and the Polytechnic University. This framework allows for the development of medium- and long-term activities for the promotion of activities related to the protection of research results and their subsequent commercialisation.
