The new unitary patent and the unified patent court

After decades of negotiations and failed projects in search of a Community Patent,
expected to take effect in the coming months, the ratification of the
Unitary Patent as well as its corresponding Unified Patent Court.
This new figure is the latest response to the demands of a common or
coordinated over an area that encompasses countries, languages and laws as diverse as the
European Union.

What is this new figure and how is it articulated?

Is this the definitive figure the European Union expects? Is that the one waiting for Spain?

Will it be a response to the demands raised at community level or will it create new dysfunctionalities?

Should Spanish institutions and companies change their patent strategy in Europe?

At this seminar we hope to give a quick answer to these questions by
practical analysis of the new figure of the United Patent and the Unified Court of
Patent.
