Descripción Objeto del premio: 2ª Convocatoria del “Premio Tesis Doctoral” de la Cátedra UPM-Clarke, Modet & Cº. El objeto es premiar líneas de investigación que se hayan reflejado en una Tesis Doctoral pero que, más allá de su carácter técnico o no, destaquen por la adecuada gestión en:
- Su protección a través de las diferentes figuras existentes como patentes, diseños, derechos de autor, secretos industriales,…
- Su explotación y transferencia exitosa al mercado a través de creación de spin offs, licencias,..
Requisitos: la Tesis doctorales deben reunir las siguientes condiciones: Que hayan sido leídas y defendidas, durante el periodo 1 enero de 2011 al 31 de diciembre de 2013, en las distintas Universidades de países de habla hispana y portuguesa, tanto públicas como privadas.
Fecha para presentar propuestas: 1 de marzo de 2014 hasta 30 de abril de 2014.
Plazo resolución: 2 meses siguientes al cierre de presentación de los trabajos
Forma de Presentación: A través del siguiente impreso, remitido por email a premiotesis@catedraupmclarkemodet.es
Documentación necesaria: Una vez cerrado el plazo de presentación, se seleccionarán los títulos finalistas a los que se podrá solicitar información adicional como la copia de la Tesis Doctoral o copia del certificado donde figure la fecha de la lectura de la Tesis y la calificación obtenida, todos los documentos se solicitarán en formato digitalizado.
Procedimiento de selección: Una vez cerrado plazo de presentación se seleccionarán, antes del 31 de mayo de 2014, los títulos finalistas, informando por email del resultado a todos los participantes sean seleccionados o no. Las tesis finalistas se presentarán a un jurado que seleccionará la Tesis ganadora antes del 31 de junio de 2014.
Premio: El premio consistirá en:
- un premio en metálico de 2.000 euros
- trabajos en especie equivalentes a 2.000 euros de trabajo en servicios de Propiedad Industrial e Intelectual y asistencia en la promoción y difusión del desarrollo.»
