El Premio Tesis Doctoral es una convocatoria abierta a tesis doctorales defendidas en universidades de habla hispano o portuguesa.
El fomento de investigaciones aplicadas en el mundo universitario es clave para la promoción de la transferencia entre la Sociedad y la Universidad. Una de las vías de fomento de las mismas es la creación del “Premio a la Tesis Doctoral e Investigación aplicada”, valorando especialmente que las investigaciones hayan supuesto la creación de activos de Propiedad Industrial e Intelectual, la creación de alguna spin-off o que se haya conseguido una transferencia de sus resultados al mercado.
Esta convocatoria está abierta a cualquier tesis doctoral leída y defendida en una universidad de habla hispano o portuguesa, valorando especialmente su adecuada su estrategia de protección, explotación y transferencia exitosa al mercado.
Descripción convocatoria
Premio: El premio consistirá en 3.000 euros.
Organismo Convocante: Cátedra UPM–ClarkeModet, de Propiedad Industrial e Intelectual
Criterios de selección: El objetivo es premiar líneas de investigación que se hayan reflejado en una Tesis Doctoral pero que, más allá de su carácter técnico o no, destaquen por la adecuada gestión en:
- Su estrategia de protección a través de las diferentes figuras existentes como patentes, diseños, derechos de autor, secretos industriales, etc.
- Su explotación y transferencia exitosa al mercado a través de creación de spin- offs, licencias, etc.
Requisitos: Las tesis doctorales que concurran al premio deben haber sido leídas y defendidas, durante el periodo comprendido entre el 1 enero de 2018 al 31 de diciembre de 2019, en cualquier universidad de cualquier país de habla hispana o portuguesa, tanto públicas como privadas.
Periodo inscripción: desde el 16 de noviembre de 2020 hasta el 16 de diciembre 2020.
Forma de Presentación: A través del formulario habilitado en la web de la Cátedra.
